This collaboration between Mannes School of Music and the School of Drama of the College of Performing Arts at The New School will explore the creative world of composers Barbara Strozzi, Marianne von Martinez, Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn, Cecile Chaminade, Florence Price, Valerie Coleman, and excerpts from plays by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Olympe de Gouges, Henrietta Vinton Davis and others.
